The conference venue, The Discovery Building, houses the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery (WID), along with its partners, the private, non-profit Morgridge Institute for Research and the Town Center. For more information about WID, visit wid.wisc.edu.
The Town Center occupies the first floor of the Discovery building and is open to the public. The MIP2013 Workshop will be held in the Town Center. The upper floors of the Discovery building have restricted access and are intended only for building occupants.
MIP 2013 Workshop
- The Town Center FORUM (room 1255) is the location for all the single track MIP2013 presentations
- Two breakout rooms near the FORUM (1170 and 1260) are available for MIP2013 participants from 8am – 5pm for break-out discussions/interactions
- Poster session will be held Monday (7/22) from 5-7:30 pm in the open area near the FORUM. See Poster Session for more details and see Discovery building map for poster session location.
Internet Access
Free wireless internet access is available in the WID building. Connect to the network WIDMIR-guest. After connecting, you will need to open a web browser and accept the conditions of use in order to gain access.
