The workshop dinner will take place from 6-9PM on July 23 at the University of Wisconsin Memorial Union overlooking Lake Mendota. The banquet will be held in the Tripp Commons in the Union. Tripp Commons is located on the second floor of the union (in the Northeast corner of the building).
There will be two buffets available, as well as an open bar including bottled water, sodas, beer, and wine. The available buffets are:
(1) Italian Buffet: Beef and Vegetarian Lasagna, Caesar Salad.
(2) Badger Tailgate Buffet: Steak, Chicken Breast, Vegetarian Chili, Bratwurst, Vegetarian Bratwurst, Garden Salad, and Cookies.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, the dinner cost has been slightly subsidized, and the cost per person is $26. Payment was requested by July 15. A small number of last-minute dinner tickets may be available – please contact Jim Luedtke (jrluedt1@wisc.edu) if you have not paid for the dinner but wish to attend.
- Walking directions from the Discovery Building: Walk east on University Avenue (4 blocks) until Park Street. Turn left at Park Street and walk north (2 blocks) until Langdon Street. Turn right at Langdon Street and the Memorial Union building is the large building on your left.
